Lilyan Marlene Searle

 

Lilyan Marlene Searle was born on 10/11/12, pretty cool birthday to have and it makes it easier for us to remember haha. We named her middle name after Brocks Grandma. She actually had the name of London for a day, but after calling her that all day we realized that it just didnt fit her, so we decided on the name Brock really loved and it fits her perfectly! So pretty much Brock is better at naming our kids because I'm pretty sure he came up with Annabelle too :).

 

I was induced wednesday night, and by thursday morning no progress had been made, so they upped my medicine to make the contractions stronger.........this was the most horrible experience of my life, i'm sure everyone who's had a baby can say at some point they didnt think they would survive through the experience..that was me from 9am-1pm. At that point I had only dialated to a 1 and so my doctor gave me an epidural....Heaven!!! I dont understand how anyone can go through labor without it! At 6pm I was only dialated to 1.5, yeah it was frustrating. My doctor told us that she thought we should do a C section because she didnt think I would progress anymore, she even broke my water. half an hour later brock and my mom were dressed up and I was on the operating table. half an hour after that Lily was born! craziness, i'm thankful for epidurals, my doctor, and medication :) overall i'm feeling pretty good, makes me so sad that i'm not allowed to lift annabelle for 2 weeks. i'm also very thankful for my mom and dad, they are letting us live with them while we wait to move into our house and so i'm so lucky to have my mom to take care of me during this time. she took this week off work and has totally been taking care of annabelle since i can't. i'm so blessed to have such amazing family. i want to say a special thank you to all the family and friends who have been helping us paint the house, shingle the house, and everything else we've had to do!

These pictures of Annabelle & Harley are from when my Brother Jeff & his wife Alicia came to visit from Texas, I'm a bit late in posting them, but better late than never haha. She is sooo adorable and has the most beautiful blue eyes!

We're....MOVING...

Wow this has been a whirlwind week! The first week of September Brock got an email of a house that was for sale, He woke me up early in the morning and said I should come look, I said Why we aren't even planning on moving for another year! But he got me out of bed and when I saw it, I was in love :). So we talked about it a lot, meaning for a couple of days because the house was actually on auction, it was Thursday and we had to have an offer in by Saturday Night! Yikes talk about a quick decision, relying heavily on getting some answers to prayers asap!

So we put in a bid and said if we get it we get it, if we don't we don't. Well tuesday rolls around and we got the message that we won the bid! Crazy moment! My thoughts were how much I love a new adventure, How sad it is to have to leave our friends :( they've become like family to us, I love remodeling :), I can't believe Karly & Wade won't be able to live below us anymore :(, Wow it'll be nice not to squeeze both of my kids in one room...OHHH Wait I'm having a baby, How are we supposed to move right when I'm having a baby! My due date is the 5th of october...& we close the 8th of October!!! Did I really just get their room ready for nothing, ya i was pretty much all over the place, But the nice thing is that we can still have our friends over :) cuz who can give up nights of playing settlers! & who can resist seeing Annabelle when they've seen her practically everyday for her entire life! Better be seeing you guys a lot still haha.

I'm excited to show befores and afters as Brock and I remodel the house! Most of it will not be taking place for a while due to the fact that I'm having a baby, but it'll be fun to have new projects and to have a room to do the projects in! Brock is sooo happy to have a kitchen table instead of a project/eating if theres room table haha. I'm so thankful for Family and Friends that are already offereing help with the move and with doing some of the painting. Although I'm hoping i'll be able to help...we'll see! Here are some pictures of the house, we're excited to start some of the landscaping in the spring.

Our California Trip!

SOOOO we set out for California on Thursday July 12th, we'd already experienced issues with our return flight through allegiant air, had to lose money and get vouchers...which we probably wont use, ugh, but i got over it and came to grips that we'd have to drive back. The drive really wasnt that bad and I got to put my feet on Brock whenever my feet started to swell. So we were super excited and we stopped in St. George for the night, at 3am Annabelle started throwing up! Poor baby threw up all night and twice in the car when we left the next day. We arrived in San Diego friday night and Saturday morning I started throwing up....then saturday night Brock started throwing up, Sunday morning Brocks brother started throwing up! What a way to start the vacation! Good news was they each only lasted about 12 hours and we were lucky we all got sick on non work/ or play days. So we were blessed. Monday we went to Seaworld, then everyone worked tuesday, wednesday we went to Disneyland, Thursday we worked, Friday we worked then went to the beach and Coronado Island, Saturday we worked then we headed back to st. george and got home on Sunday. We were all exhausted! Annabelle stayed at Brocks parents sunday night because I had to do my fast and glucose drink early monday morning :( yuck! And I got the wonderful news that I have gestastional diabetes...so now I have to get on a low carb diet. Hopefully I dont end up having a gianormous baby...scary. Anyway here are some pics from the trip!

Mormon Batallion- This was such a cool exhibit, I had never heard this story before but it was soooo good! I recommend it to anyone going to San Diego.

So what more could Annabelle ask for then to have an Elmo theme park inside of Sea World, as she waited in line with Grandma she kept saying "MO!"
