Love My Little Girl

She always sleeps like this so cute! Brock put mittens on her so her hands would stay warm because they always feel cold since she never keeps them in her blankets.

I was trying to catch a smile from her

She really is the cutest :)

I didnt record this the best, but I love it because I got her talking in it! She loves when you talk her baby language back to her. This is just one of those precious moments. And I dont know why it put the video twice but i can figure out how to change it haha.

ORANGE LEAF!

Orange Leaf is sooo good! Brock, Annabelle, and I went there tonight to get some frozen yogurt. Its awesome because you get the amount that you want and put all the toppings you like on it yourself then at the end they weigh it and you pay by how many ounces you have. I LOVE IT! So yummy! Annabelle is missin' out :) that formula is nothing compared to the wedding cake flavor of frozen yogurt haha

Its so sad, Annabelle got her first cold. You just want to be able to blow their nose for them! So sad when she's all stuffed up and just doesn't understand why she feels so crummy...We are just giving her extra kisses. Last night I slept with her on the couch. That was a long night, being up every hour on the hour. Today I think she feels a little better. She hasn't lost her appetite though :)

What a Week!

This past week has been crazy! Brock mentioned something that should never be said aloud...that things are going really well right now and we haven't had anything bad happen in a while...well you know when it rains it pours. So literally the next day the basement flooded. There was a pond of water in the kitchen and front room, with a nasty odor of sewer. We used the shop vac to get out a couple of loads of water. By then Brock had gotten home and he had the brilliant thought to call the insurance company. We havent done this before so we thought we'd give it a try. Luck was on our side because they came out and even cut our deductable in half because we had tried to clean it up. The next thing we knew ARS cleaning company was down there ripping out sheetrock, carpet, and cupboards. So the flooding turned into remodeling. Its a wreck right now but soon it'll be as good as new! the unfortunate part is that we had to replace the sump pump, drill the lines to get rid of roots etc, and put an alarm on the pump to warn if there is ever a next time...which there better not be for the total price. I feel so bad for Wade & Karly, one minute things are going great, next minute your carrying sewer water outside. UGH!

I'm excited for the finished result. We get to meet with the cupboard guy soon and then we'll pick out new carpet. Its going to look soooo much better because we will get to update everything. We're going with the glazed knaughty alder finish on the cabinets instead of the oak that they were. To top off the week another tree fell down in our back yard, and the wind blowing almost ripped some cabels off the house that would have torn down the siding too. That's 3 so things should be lookin up now :).

On a brighter note, Annabelle is growing and smiles almost all of the time and is starting to find her voice. She loves clicking noises and when you sing la la la to her. Love her so much!
