I didn't send out a Christmas Letter this year...oops so here it is :) We've had a wonderful year of experiencing New Things!
To start off the year of 2011, on January 2nd we experienced what it's like to be parents for the First Time when we adopted our precious daughter, Princess Annabelle, and thats what she is! She could be the princess of any Disney movie because she is always so happy & loves discovering new things! You can definitely tell shes excited about something when she laughs & kicks her legs! If something is soft, which is one of her favorite things she'll cuddle it up to her face :) Gets that from my Mom I guess haha! She is a joy in our lives! Here are some landmarks for her over the year!
Annabelle was able to go to the Temple for the 1st time & we were sealed together as a Family! This was such a special day for all of us! Everything was so peaceful, I'm so grateful we can be together Forever :)
Then Brock experienced a wonderfully new feeling of Graduating! He graduated with his Bachelor's in Accounting from BYU-Idaho. Upon graduating he got his First Job in his Career! He is working as a Cost Accountant at Melaleuca! He is really enjoying what he does, phew! He works in what they call the Man Cave, only guys & they love playing practical jokes on each other. We also don't mind getting our Melaleuca Product Checks :) It's so exciting to start this phase of our lives...Wait...More SCHOOL???!! That's right Brock is getting ready to start going to school again for his Master's!! Starting in January at ISU he will either be getting his Masters of Accouting or an MBA. To top it off he has plans to complete the CPA exam! These will be memorable times for us haha. I know he will do great! Brock also got to enjoy riding his mountain bike a lot this year!
As for me this year I adjusted to life as a stay at Home MOM & I love it! Yes the endless laundary & dishes are sometimes annoying, but it is great to be able to snuggle my little girl & play with her each day! I was taking some classes from BYU-I in my spare time. That was really fun, I love learning and was able to learn alot about communication & the History of our Nation. I'm grateful for the opportunities we have to learn. I moved to a Salon I absolutely LOVE! Galleria Dei Capelli, say that 10 times fast! Its over on East 17th in the cottage looking building with the giant Bare Minerals sign! It's such a cozy place & definitely my style :) Only 2 chairs, great decorating, & a reclining massage chair in the lounge! Most of the time I feel like its my own place! However when I do work with the other girls there I love it too. I got creative with adding decorations to our Home. & Currently I'm learning how to use my new SLR Camera!!!!!!! It has been a dream of mine for a long time to have a Camera like this! I'm so excited to learn how to use it :)
Unfortunately our Basement flooded this year, but then it was newly repaired & remodeled!
Thanks Home Owner's Insurance :)
So we had a lot of new experiences this year but it only made us grow closer together! We hope you all have a Wonderful New Year!
Love,
The Searles
